East Weston and West York (3 Aug 1916)
Farmers around here are nearly done haying.
Fred Brenner is cutting the legs off the grasshoppers as his hay is so short
they can’t climb out of the way of the mower.
Frank Wheeler has his new barn nearly done.
Will Joyce is looking over Will Gerhardt’s way of late, as Lizzie is there.
We understand C. Heller is going to cut his hay this fall so he can haul it in
on the sled as he will not have to pitch it so high then.
H.F. Magadanze has sold his cheese factory to parties form Spencer.
Howard Brenner is the owner of a new bicycle.
Miss Esther Dollase is home from Lesueur, Minn.
Most of the barley and rye has been cut around here.
