The Ladies Aid met with Mrs. S. Brown last Thursday.
Richard Free is painting his house.
Mart Laftoska has masons at work on a barn basement wall.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wage at Granton attended church here Sunday.
Mrs. Theo. Brown has been quite sick the past week, but is better now.
Cleve Evans and wife have moved to Neillsville. Cleve is working for James
Paulus.
Wm. Hannah and Howard Begley each took an auto load of people over to the Eau
Claire River country on a hunt for blueberries Sunday.
Frank Wheeler received a letter from Elmer Brown of Belfield, N.D., asking him
to send fifty men to help with the harvesting, as that locality has a bumper
crop and help is scarce. Mr. Brown at one time kept the store here and now has a
store in Belfield.
