Miss Clara Knoop went to St. Paul Tuesday to spend a few days.
Charles Ehlert and wife were here from Columbia Monday.
The rural mail carriers will meet at Greenwood next Monday.
Rev. Coleman went to Baraboo Tuesday to attend a conference.
Henry Lindsey and wife returned last week from their western trip.
Miss Louise Frick of Pittsburg is visiting her sister, Mrs. H.H. Eberhart.
Donald MacMillan is home from Chicago for a brief visit with his mother.
Miss Emma Marth returned home Tuesday from Oregon where she spent the summer.
There will be a meeting of Carmi Chapter, No. 60, O.E.S. next Tuesday evening,
Sept. 5th.
J.W. Short went to Marshfield to see his wife, who is recovering from an
operation at the hospital.
On Monday and Tuesday of next week, Labor Day and Election Day, all banks of the
city will be closed.
Mrs. Kaiser returned home to Holsten yesterday after a few days visit with her
sister, Mrs. H.H. Eberhart.
Miss Vera Brothers returned home to Menomonie Tuesday after a few days visit at
the home of Geo. Ure.
J.F. Vincent took his dAughter, Gertrude, to Waukesha Tuesday where she will
attend school this year.
B., Listeman and wife returned home to Chicago Tuesday after spending a few
weeks with their son, Kurt, and his wife.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Steinke returned home to Ft. Atkinson Tuesday after a brief
visit at the Hake home southeast of the city.
Mrs. Mary E. Thayer and dAughters, Edith and Margaret, returned home to
Minneapolis Tuesday after a visit at the home of George Austin and Mrs. M.C.
