Price of Gasoline is Raised Two Cents
In observance of a two-cent increase in the price of gasoline, as announced by
the Standard Oil Company of Indiana Friday, a general raise of the price of
“gas” was noticed in local filling statins.
This is the first upward price movement since the gasoline was in the fall which
brought gasoline prices down in most of the court to the lowest in a year.
Note: According to the Antique Automobile Club of America, the cost of gasoline
in 1924 was about 21 cents per gallon.
