Anderson, Alvera V. (Jasmer) (1 JAN 1931 - 4 FEB 2014)
Alvera V. (Jasmer) Anderson, 83, Athens, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at
Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Athens. Rev. Jeffrey A. Lambrecht will officiate. Burial will
be in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Hamburg.
Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral
Home, Athens and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the
church.

Alvera V. (Jasmer) Anderson, 83, Athens, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at
Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born January 1, 1931 in Verndale, Minn., daughter of the late Carl and
Susie (Lambert) Jasmer. On August 4, 1951, she married Alden W. Anderson at St.
Joseph Lutheran Church in Withee. He survives.
Among her favorite pastimes, Alvera enjoyed camping with her family, playing
cards and dice, puzzles, watching the birds and playing with her dogs. Most of
all, she loved spending time with her family, and watching the Price is Right
and The Young and the Restless.
Survivors include, four children, Gail (Martin) Wiese, Athens, Susan (Charles)
Schellin, Stevens Point, Nancy (Darold) Kretschmer, Wausau and Rickey (Kathy)
Anderson, Little Chicago; seven grandchildren, Brian Wiese, Heather (Dustin
Smith) Heqet, Melinda (Aaron) Frick, Amy (Michael) Kieliszewski, Charles (Amy)
Schellin, Connie (Terry) Plante and Katie (John) Maki; nine great-grandchildren,
Jeremy Heqet, Alicia and Jacob Kieliszewski, Logan Frick, Matthew and Ethan
Schellin, Cody and Samantha Plante and Christopher Maki; two brothers, Dale
Jasmer, Thorp and Milo Jasmer, Withee; two sisters, Evelyn Wall, Lublin and
Caroline Nicpon, Barron; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Cardinal
and Marie Sherwood; and two brothers, Vernon and Lorn Jasmer.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Athens. Rev. Jeffrey A. Lambrecht will officiate. Burial will
be in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Hamburg. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00
