Heun, Ervin (24 June 1908 – 15 July 1967)
Services were held Tuesday, July 16, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for Ervin
J. Heun, 59, who died at 6 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at the Veteran’s Hospital,
Madison of complications.
The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated at the 10 a.m. service and Myre Funeral Home
was in charge of all the arrangements. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Graveside Military Rites were conducted by the American Legion of Loyal.
Mr. Heun was born June 24, 1908 at Stratford. At the age of nine he moved with
his parents from Fenwood to the Loyal area. He served in the Armed Forces during
World War ll in England, Italy and Africa. He and his brother farmed until
December of 1966 when he moved to the city of Loyal and retired.
A General Rosary was recited at 8:30 p.m. Monday.
He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society and
the American Legion Post 175.
Pallbearers were Mike Weyer, John Schweiger, Albert Rueth, Sylvester Rueth, Bert
Brown, and Franklin Rueth.
Mr. Heun is survived by one sister and brother.
