21 – DAY FURLOUGH – Cp. Alvin Wehrman, 30, who served with the Army Air Forces in the European and Asiatic theaters of war since going overseas Sept. 27, 1942, is spending his 21 day furlough with his father, Otto Wehrman, 3 miles northwest of Greenwood, and with other relatives and friends in Greenwood, Milwaukee and Chicago. On April 3, h3e will report at Santa Ana, Calif., for reassignment. Cpl Wehrman was employed on the farm of Albert Liebzeit in Greenwood until his induction March 3, 1942. He was trained at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Two brothers are in service overseas; Arno Wehrman, seaman, first class and Pfc. Leo E. Wehrman.
