Miss Jana Lee Schmidt. Route 2, Loyal, and A3/c Neal R. Sischo, Ramstein Germany, exchanged wedding vows at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 5. The Rev. N.E.King officiated and Michael Tucker was the organist.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schmidt, route 2, Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sischo, route 1, Neillsville.

The bride given in marriage by her father wore a chantilly lace gown with sequins and pearl tri and scalloped neckline. The full skirt of bridal taffeta and lace fell to a sweeping chapel length train. Her bouffant veil of illusion was secured to a lace crown, and was trimmed with pearls and aurora borealis. She carried an arrangement of red and white roses with lily-of-the-valley.

Miss Jill Schmidt, Marshfield was the maid of honor and wore a deep turquoise A-line floor-length taffeta gown featuring a floating nylon chiffon overcoat. Her blush veil was secured to a forward floral cluster.

Mrs. Jerome Poziombka, Neillsville, was the bridesmaid. She was seen in a shocking pink colored gown the same as the maid of honor. Small white gloves complimented their gowns and they carried a single stemmed white rose.

James Schmidt, Loyal, served as the best man and Jerome Poziombka, Neillsville was the groomsman. Ronald Schmidt, Loyal, and Tom Poziombka, Minneapolis, Minnesota, were the ushers. Jerry Schmidt and David Walter were the altar boys.

Wedding day events included a reception held at Jim’s Walnut Inn from 2-4 p.m. A 4:30 p.m. supper was served at St. Anthony’s Church hall. A dance followed that evening at the Granton village hall.

The new Mrs. Sischo is a 1967 graduate of Loyal High School and her husband graduated in 1964 from Neillsville High School. He is with the Air Force now and stationed at Ramstein, Germany. After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin he will be stationed at Ramstein, Germany where his bride will join him early this fall.
