Schwinn, Angela F. (15 FEB 1932 – 13 MAR 2014)

Angela F. Schwinn, 82, Spencer, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, March 17, at the Loyal City Cemetery. Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiated.

Angela Frances Fechter was born on Feb. 15, 1932, in Newburg, the daughter of Martin and Eva (nee Hentges) Fechter. She received her education at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Newburg. In 1950, Angela moved to the Greenwood area where she worked as a babysitter. She later worked for Weinbrenner Shoes, the Loyal Cannery, and Figi's. She married Elmer H. Schwinn on June 22, 1963, in Neillsville. In addition to raising her children, Angela always found time to help with chores on the farm. In her spare time, she loved to garden, play her accordion, do ceramics, and cut lawn. She also enjoyed watching Green Bay Packer football games, Milwaukee Brewers baseball games, and she later became a huge NASCAR fan, always cheering for her favorite driver, Tony Stewart. Over the years, she attended many horse pulling events around the area with her daughter Rhonda. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal.

She is survived by two children, Alora (Roger) Rueth, Loyal, and Rhonda Schwinn, Spencer; two grandchildren; three sisters, Susie Kloehn, Dania, Fla., Josephine Schmitz, Port Washington, and Gloria (John) Hahn, West Bend; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer, on April 30, 2001; three sisters, Merina Fechter, Evelyn Kohlbach and Evangeline Bohn; and five brothers, Andrew, Matthew, Clarence, Edward and Mathew.
