Litka, Ruth (13 APR 1922 – 11 MAR 2014)
Ruth Litka, 91, Watertown, formerly of Loyal,
passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Funeral services were held at noon on
Saturday, March 15, at Cross Lutheran Church, Ixonia. Interment was in Cross
Lutheran Cemetery.
Ruth Lindekugel was born on April 13, 1922, in Loyal, to Frank and Martha
Lindekugel. She married Reuben Litka on Sept. 3, 1941, in Loyal. Ruth farmed
with her husband, Reuben, and son, Larry, until they moved to Oconomowoc in
1984.
Ruth is survived by her loving daughter, Nancy (David) Flood; two grandchildren,
Steve (Michelle) Flood and Michelle (Dan) Berg; and three great-grandchildren,
Katilin, Nathan and Kallie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben; her son, Larry; a brother, Harold; and great-grandson, Zachary Flood.
Memorials may be given to Cross Lutheran Church or Oconomowoc Regional Cancer Center.
The family would like to thank the staff at Marquardt Manor for the excellent care given her. A thank you also to Marquardt Hospice. Your staff and hospice have a heart of gold.
