Wedding vows were repeated by Miss Vickie Lee Rayhorn, Loyal and Russell W. Weichelt, route 2, Marshfield, on Saturday, September 30, at 3 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield.

The Rev. Eldore Messerschmidt officiated at the ceremony. Miss Carla Cole sang “O’ Perfect Love” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” She was accompanied by Mr. Paul Muehl.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rayhorn, Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Weichelt, route 4, Marshfield.

The bride given in marriage by her father was sen in a gown of re-embroidered alencon lace and peau de sole. It was designed in floor length with a detachable chapel train and her bouffant veil of English silk illusion fell from a forward headpiece of peau taffeta roses. She carried a cascade arrangement of spephanotis, white carnations and a white orchid with accents of English ivy.

Miss Cherry Meacham, Loyal was the maid of honor and the aides were Miss Wendy Rayhorn, Loyal; Miss Cathy Weichelt, Marshfield; and Mrs. Daniel Langfeldt, Rice Lake. They each wore a full length dress of green crepe and carried a cascade arrangement of yellow fugi chrysanthemums with green velvet ribbon.

Mr. Douglas Seehafer, route 4, Marshfield served as best man and Mr. Kenneth Seehafer, route 4, Marshfield; Mr. Roger Harder, Marshfield; and Mr. Jeffrey Rayhorn, Loyal, were the groomsmen. Mr. Larry Seehafer, Marshfield and Mr. Bruce Rayhorn, Loyal, were the ushers.

Wedding day events included a supper at the parish hall and a reception and dance held at the Hotel Charles in Marshfield.

The bride was a 1964 graduate of Loyal High School and is employed at the Citizen’s Bank of Loyal. The groom is a 1961 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School and is a student now attending St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Marshfield.

After a wedding trip by plane to New York the couple will reside on route 4, Marshfield.

Guests attended the wedding from LaCrosse, Milwaukee, Tomah, Stevens Point, Clintonville, Kenosha, Gary, Indiana and Belvidere, Illinois.
