Miss Mardell Ruth Miller, route 1, Loyal and Mr. Dale John Rothamer, route 1,
Loyal, exchanged wedding vows at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, with the
Rev. N. E. King officiating on Saturday, October 7.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Miller and Mr. and Mrs. David
Rothamer, both of route 1, Loyal.
The bride given in marriage by her father at the 1 p.m. ceremony was seen in a
chantilly lace and rayon on organza gown with chapel train and a headpiece made
of petal effect of organza holding a shoulder length bouffant veil. She carried
an arrangement of white carnations with ivy.
Mrs. Thomas Loos, Loyal, was the matron of honor, and Miss Jo Ann Buhr, Marion
and Mrs. Richard Simonson, route 1, Spencer, the bridesmaids. They each donned
floor length cages of olive chiffon and venise lace and they carried white
spider chrysanthemums with ivy.
Thomas Loos, Loyal, served as the groom as best man; and Lee Rothamer, Loyal,
and Richard Simonson, route 1, Spencer, were groomsmen; and Alan Rothamer and
Allen Gordee ushered.
A wedding reception was held at the Star Lodge Motel followed by a dinner served
in the church parlors and the dance was held at the Silver Dome Ballroom,
Neillsville.
The bride, who has been employed at the Marshfield Clinic, Graduated from Loyal
High School in 1964 from which her husband graduated a year earlier. He is a
farmer. Following a wedding trip through the western states the couple will make
their home on route 1, Loyal.
