Ashel, Wallace (2 SEP 1896 – 3 MAR 1965)
Wallace Ashel died Wednesday, March 3, 1965 at the Veterans Hospital in Madison
at the age of 68, after a short illness. He was buried in Veterans Cemetery on
March 8.
Mr. Ashel was born Sept. 2, 1896. He was a resident of this area for over 30
years, being employed at the Post Manufacturing Co. until his retirement three
years ago. He also was a World War I veteran. He leaves to mourn his passing,
his wife and four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Fortunato and Mrs. Alberta
Scornavocca, Highwood, Ill., Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Parsons, Hayward, Calif., and
Mrs. Phillip (Beverly) Deutchman, Monrovia, Calif., who were with him at the
time of death.
