Tesmer, Audrey Lorna (Schulte) (15 Oct 1923 - 17 MAR 2014)
Audrey L. Tesmer, age 90, of Colby passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014, at
Colonial Center in Colby.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Zion
Lutheran Church in Colby. The Rev. Mark Neumann will officiate. Burial will be
held in Colby Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 2:00 PM
until time of services Thursday at the church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral
Home in Colby is entrusted with the arrangements.
Audrey was born on October 15, 1923, the daughter of Otto and Cora (Meyer)
Schulte in Colby.
She graduated from Colby High School. Audrey was a pharmacy Assistant, working
at Wing Drug Store in Marshfield and Colby Drug Store. She was united in
marriage to Sylvester "Boots" Tesmer on November 10, 1984 at St. Mary's Catholic
Church in Colby. He preceded her in death on January 6, 1999.
Audrey enjoyed bowling for a number of year, golfing and bird watching. Her and
Boots enjoyed their cabin, fishing and hunting. She was also a Master Gardener
and had beautiful plants and flowers in her yard.
Audrey is survived by her nephew, Doug (Margi) Johnson of Crossville, TN and her
niece, Diane (Scott) Ditlevson of Rochester, MN; other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and two sisters: Dorothy
Johnson and Ruth Kademan.
