Zilk, Mary Jo (Marriage - 29 January 1972)
Miss Mary Jo Zilk and Marion Brent Fusilier exchanged wedding vows Saturday,
January 29, in a 3 p.m. ceremony performed at Black River Falls. Mr. and Mrs.
Glen Zilk of Neillsville are the parents of the bride. The groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Marion Fusilier of Ville Platte, La.
Mrs. David Baribeaux of Sparta was the matron of Honor. The bridesmaid was Mrs.
Allen McFarland of Greenwood. Scott Jackson of Sparta served as bestman.
A reception honoring the newlyweds was held at the bride’s home.
The new Mrs. Fusilier attended Western Technical Institute at La Crosse for a
year. She worked for a short time before her marriage on the staff of L. O.
Fusilier, district attorney and a senatorial candidate in the Louisiana primary
elections. Her husband, who attended McNeese College at Lake Charles, La, is
employed by the Louisiana State Highway Department as a right-of-way agent. The
couple will live at Ville Platte, La.
