Menne, Shari Ann (Marriage - 1972)

Miss Shari Ann Menne and Brian Robert Drake exchanged wedding vows Saturday, January 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Neillsville Assembly of God Church. The Rev. D.E. Sprague officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Walt Barlow of Neillsville are the parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Drake of Marshfield.

For her marriage, the bride chose a classic, full-length white gown embroidered with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of assorted white flowers accented with greens as she was given in marriage by her father.

Miss Rhona Tossey, St. Paul, Mn, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Wanda Zank, and Miss Julie Menne. The attendants wore winter green gowns styled like the bride’s gown.

Tom Hauri, Marshfield, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Bruce Kuemichel and Tom Frank, both of Marshfield. Steve Rakestraw and Gary Menne acted as ushers.

Music was provided by John and Dave Yonker of Marshfield. A reception in the church basement followed the ceremony.

The newlyweds both are graduates of Neillsville High School. They will make their home in Marshfield.
