Boley, Helen (? - 25 January 1972)

Mrs. Jack Boley, 78, of Lake Mills died January 25, in a Jefferson nursing home after a long illness. She was the former Helen Stelse and was born at London, Wis. She lived with her parents in this vicinity when a small child on what is now the John Reinart farm.

She was first married to Ed Schwindler who died in 1933. In 1934 she was married to Jack Boley. She operated a boat livery and resort from 1928 to 1951 and was a member of Lake Mills Moravian Church.

She is survived by her husband and a brother, Gust Stelse of Whitewater.

The funeral was held in the church Saturday.

Mrs. Boley was a cousin of Mrs. Poler of Granton and the late Mrs. William Ottow and had visited them and other friends here before her illness.
