An entertainment by the best home talent will be given in Colby Hall for the
benefit of Rev. G. R. Chambers, Tuesday evening, March 26. This entertainment is
by our home people, for the benefit of our home people and ought to be well
patronized by our home people. Don’t fail to go and help in this good cause.
Admission, 25 cents; children 10 cents.
Henry Welsch was on a business trip to Hurley, Bessemer and Rhinelander last
week. At the latter place Henry spent a day visiting his daughters, who are
located there. He also called on Gene Wicker and Frank Vetter. He reports all
the Colbyites in that place as well, happy and getting rich.
Geo. F. Lantz, Longwood merchant and agent for the Champion Harvesting Machine,
was in town Thursday and Friday, interviewing the farmers at the institute.
