Lynn (10 Feb 1972)

The Ladies Aid of Zion Lutheran Church of Granton met Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Roland Roehrs led with a prayer.

Mrs. Marilyn Oelrich of Marshfield showed pictures and spoke on her experiences at the International L.W.M.L. Convention held last June in Louisville, Ky.

Songs were, “I Love to tell the Story” and “Oh God of Mercy, God of Might,” and the table prayer. A lunch was served by members of the L.W.M.L.

There were 40 members present. Among visitors were Mrs. Lyle Doehr, Mrs. Marvin Menger of Chili and Mrs. Oelrich. “Happy Birthday” was sung and thank you notes were read. The next meeting will be March 1.

Mr. and Mrs. William Foote are patients at Memorial Home in Neillsville.

Mrs. Martin Krause, who was home a few weeks, has returned to Memorial Home.
