Juliusson, Oliver C. (8 February 1913 - 3 February 1972)

Graveside services for the Rev. Oliver C. Juliusson, 58, of Greeley, Co, who died there February 3, were held Wednesday, February 9 at 1:30 p. m. at the Mentor Cemetery with the Rev. Max Bell officiating. The Georgas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Juliusson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Juliusson, was born February 8, 1913, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He served with the Merchant Marines in the 1930s. His marriage to the former Regina Bell took place November 24, 1938, at Humbird. He was acting pastor at Wheatridge Church while attending the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley and working on his master’s degree.

Rev. Juliusson also served churches at Merrill and at Minneapolis, Mn, was affiliated with the Kentucky Bible School, and was on the founding board of Covenant College and seminary at Chattanooga, Tn. He was also on the board of National Missions and a member of the Rocky Mountain Presbytery synod.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three children, Mrs. Ron (Gladys) Westbrook of Boulder, Co, Mrs. John (Elaine) Hancock and Charles Juliusson, both of Greeley; a brother, Mel Johnson of Novato, Ca; and two grandchildren.
