Lepper, Ilona E. (Marriage - 2 February 1972)

Miss Ilona E. Lepper became the bride of Clifford A. Smith on Wednesday, February 2, in a 6:30 p.m. candlelight ceremony performed at the Neillsville United Church of Christ by the Rev. George E. Yons. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Lepper of Wetzler, Germany. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Smith of Rt. 1Neillsville are the groom’s parents.

For her marriage, the bride chose a street-length dress in shades of dark blue and cream. A rose bud and chrysanthemum corsage accented her ensemble.

Mrs. Kathleen Smith and Robert Mortenson were the couple’s attendants.

A reception honoring the newlyweds was at the home of the groom’s parents.

The bride is a graduate of a Wetzler Germany high school. Her husband attended Neillsville schools and was recently discharged from the U. S. Army. They will live in the Neillsville area.
