Dresdow, William (20 SEP 1885 – 10 APR 1965)
At two o’clock yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, April 14, funeral services were
conducted for William Edward Dresdow, from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home.
Rev. Beryl Knudsen, pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, officiated at
the final rites, with interment being at Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Art Karow, Arnold Vater, William Parks, Art Hansen, Elmer Venet
and Ed Baum.
Death came to this 79 year old resident, who had spent his entire life span in
this community (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), Saturday, April 10, 1965, at the Havenet
Nursing home, Owen, where he had been a resident the past several weeks.
Mr. Dresdow was born Sept. 20, 1885 in Waukesha County, and in 1901 came with
his parents to a farm north of Withee, where he had resided since. He was never
married.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Eppers, Waukesha; and Miss Hattie
Dresdow, route 2, Withee; and four brothers, Albert, route 2, Withee; Otto and
Henry, Waukesha; and Walter, Eau Claire.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
