Reinertson, Earl (7 APR 1903 – 9 APR 1965)
Earl Reinertson, 62, a resident of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) and an employee here
as a cheesemaker since 1961, died at his home in the Fourth Ward at two o’clock
Friday afternoon, April 9, 1965, succumbing to a lingering illness which
necessitated several operations and long periods of hospitalization the past
several months.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, April 12, at the Nazareth Lutheran
Church at Withee with the parish pastor, Rev. Beryl Knudsen, officiating. Burial
was made in the parish cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Harold Wendt, Roy
Segerstrom, Vic Jessen, H.M. Wollum, S.E. Grimes and W.R. Haire.
Mr. Reinertson was born April 7, 1903 at Chicago. His marriage to Gertrude
Rohde, who preceded him in death in 1958, took place Aug. 17, 1931. In 1963 he
married Mary Vetterkind, who survives him. Mr. Reinertson was a cheesemaker and
a salesman at Valder, Loyal and Owen.
He was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church at Withee, and the Owen-Withee
Masonic Lodge.
Other survivors are a son, Ralph, at home; two step-daughters, Mrs. Harold
Johnson and Mrs. Delores Ronzoni, Highland Park, Ill.; three brothers, Richard,
Chicago; Chauncey, Kiel; and Walter, Valder; a sister, Mrs. Alvin Larson, state
of Iowa; and four step-grandchildren.
Relatives from out of town that attended the funeral of Earl Reinertson were

Reinertson, Valder, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Reinertson, Kiel, Wis.; Mr. and
Mrs. Mathias Reinertson, Reedsville; Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Leverenz, New
Holstein; Mrs. Everett Schwalbe, Brillion, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Rohde,
Manitowoc; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Johnson and Mrs. Richard Ronzoni, Highland Park,
Ill.; and others attending from Loyal and Thorp.
