On Good Friday at the West Side Reformed Church the following young people received the Rite of Confirmation after having previously passed the private and public examinations: Elsie Steiger, Marcella Abel, Orlin Fravert, Everett Humke, Elvera Reineking, Violet Kuester, Bernice Schwarze. Due to illness Raymond Moldenhauer, another member of the class, will be confirmed later, Rev. P.H. Franzmeier, pastor, confirmed the class.
During this service the Junior and Senior Class sang the hymn “Living for Jesus.”
Rev. Franzmeier had an
English confirmation service and a German Good Friday service, at the latter
service the Junior choir sang the hymns.
