Pink, Magdalene C. (22 NOV 1934)
The parsonage of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bloomington, was the scene of a
late fall wedding on Thanksgiving morning, when Miss Magdalene C. Pink, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pink of Bloomington, became the bride of William G.
Graunke Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Graunke Sr. of Wausau. The ceremony was
performed by the Rev. C.W. Gille.
The bride wore a pale blue velvet frock of ankle length with silver hat and
slippers and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. She was attended by her
sister, Mrs. Sylvester Hinker, who wore a dress of pink silk crepe, floor
length, with brown accessories and carried pink and white carnations.
The groom was attended by Sylvester Hinker as best man. Both groom and best man
wore suits of oxford gray, with white carnations boutonnieres.
After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's
parents to immediate relatives.
Both the bride and groom have taught in the Loyal schools. Mr. Graunke is in his
seventh year as instructor of mathematics and Latin. Mrs. Graunke has been
teaching the first and second grades for the past six years.
Mr. and Mrs. Graunke will be at home to their friends in Loyal after December
1st.
The Gleaner joins their many friends in extending congratulations and best
wishes for a long and happy married life.
