Mr. and Mrs. Dale Spry returned Friday from Granton and Neillsville where they visited relatives during vacation.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hansen and son Floyd were dinner guests at Scherf's Thursday.

Mrs. Frank Ferris called at Elton's Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Sayles of La Farge visited a number of days during the New Year with their daughter, Mrs. Arthur Swenson and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bowen are grandparents now -- a son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bowen Dec. 31, 1934.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Smasal and Mr. and Mrs. Art Smasal were Saturday evening visitors at Fred Scherf's.

Mrs. Floyd Gould extends her sincerest thanks for the fine Christmas box presented her, which was appreciated very much, and wishes a happy New Year to all the ladies of Longwood.
