Bronson, Mary Deutschlander (26 October 1917 - 27 March 2014)

Mary Deutschlander Bronson, 96, of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Thorp, departed this life to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Mary passed away at her home in the Village of Lake Hallie, with her family at her bedside.

Mary was born to Eva (Gryb) and Fred (Theodore) Figura on October 26, 1917 in Minneapolis, MN. She married Henry Deutschlander of Thorp, WI on November 14, 1934. Together they farmed and ran Deutschlander Motor Sales. Henry went to be with the Lord in 1978. In August of 1993 she became the wife of Theron Bronson of Bradenton, FL; Theron passed away in December of 1995.

Mary was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Alex. Peter, Paul, and Steve Figura and sisters: Ann, Celia, Helen, and Olga; daughters: Cheryl, Marianne, Carol (Walter) Symbal; and son, Leslie (Ruth) Deutschlander.

Mary was a dedicated housewife and mother. In 1970, at the age of 53, she received her GED and went on to become a highly respected real estate agent in the Chicago area. In addition, throughout her Life Mary was a prayer warrior and shared her faith and love for the Lord by ministering throughout Canada, the U.S. and other countries representing Women’s Aglow Ministries.

Mary will be dearly missed by her sons: Roger (Joan) Deutschlander of Chippewa Falls, and John (Betty) Deutschlander of Halls, TN; daughter, Jacqueline (Charles) Pardus of La Habra, CA; and her sister, Pearl (Ed) Bergstrand of Tinley Park, IL. Mary had 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and two step great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday March 31, 2014, at Pederson-Volker Chapel, Chippewa Falls, with the Rev. Jim Gale officiating. Interment followed at the Thorp Cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to Monday’s Service at the funeral chapel.
