Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Mathias of Perkinstown and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Short of
Longwood spent Wednesday evening with the Abe Thorson family.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Suda and little daughter called at the Mikottis home Sunday
afternoon. Mrs. Mikottis returned home after spending a couple of weeks with the
Suda's. Martha Mikottis returned with Suda's.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Varney and Rob't Grosser of Chicago were Sunday dinner guests
at the Einfeldt home.
LeRoy Marshall, Bobbie Speich and Lawrence Stowe were the measles absentees from
school this week.
Our community was saddened by the death of Mrs. H. Boe, one of our highly
esteemed neighbors.
Mrs. Geo. Einfeldt called at the Speich and Vine homes Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rossman spent Sunday at the Wellen Hartson home in Greenwood.
Anne Tomac and Dragica Perman called at the Polzin and Finkle homes Sunday
afternoon.
Mrs. C. Dunn called on Mrs. Einfeldt Wednesday afternoon.
Henry Stowe called at Stowe's Monday morning.
Hugh Vine is moving on the Elmer Witt farm on Highway K, north of Loyal. Several
of the neighbors gathered at their home Sunday evening to extend their well
wishes.
Harold Stowe visited at home Sunday.
Mrs. John Longridge called on Mrs. J. Cronin Saturday forenoon.
Mrs. Ted Decker called on Mrs. A.P. Flikke Wednesday afternoon.
Clarence Markee is ill at this writing.
John Speich is ill with the Grippe. Ted Windom is assisting at the work there.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Durst and family spent Sunday evening at the Roy Rossman
home.
Mrs. Walter Reich and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze called on Mrs. Geo. Einfeldt Friday
afternoon.
Mrs. Otto Decker and son Otto and Art Johnson called at the Ted Decker home
Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Markee and Dorothy called at the Durst home Tuesday evening.
Otis Stowe called at Albert Ehlert's Monday afternoon.
Clara Stowe has miss high school this week due to measles.
Lila Dunn missed school several days due to sore arm from vaccination.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Suda had a baby Christened Sunday, naming her Elizabeth Marie.
