Arthur Hoops spent the weekend with relatives at Spencer.

Miss Lillian Gaustad spent Saturday and Sunday at Superior.

Dr. F.A. Boeckman of Marshfield was a Greenwood caller Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger and daughters were Marshfield visitors Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. T.C. Parr of Whitehall called at the John Arends home Sunday.

Adolph Zettler and Herman Kuethe of Marshfield were visitors at the P.W. Gullord home Sunday.

Miss Florence Branch spent the weekend at Park Falls with relatives and friends.

Mrs. Fred Behrens and Mrs. J.S. Andrews were Neillsville visitors last Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Hartson of Neillsville spent Saturday at the H.H. Hartson home.

Mrs. A.H. Noetzel will entertain the members of the Schafskopf Club at her home tonight.

Herbert Krahn, Agriculture teacher at the local high school, spent the weekend at Rosendale.

Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Muenchow spent from Thursday until Sunday with relatives at Dallas, Wis.

Mrs. Fred Schmidt returned home from St. Joseph's Hospital last Wednesday much improved in health.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Beyer of Alma Center spent a week ago Wednesday evening at the Jos. Brauneis Jr. home.

John Novak, coach of the local high school, spent from Thursday until Sunday with his parents at La Crosse.

Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Carter and Dr. and Mrs. A.J. Currie spent Sunday at the F.G. MacLachlan home at Augusta.

Mrs. E.L. Schendel, Eaton Center, spent last Wednesday with her daughter, Miss Irene, a nurse at the Neillsville Hospital.

Wm. Youngs, who purchased the John Pauley residence on Black River Hill, took possession of same last Friday.

Mrs. Matt Roeber of Unity arrived Friday for a visit at the Adolph Meyer, Henry Olson and other relatives and friends.

Dorothy Schwarze, Allen Wuethrich and Stuart Kennedy were Sunday dinner guests of Miss Nell Hartson at Neillsville.

Jim Plank was a Neillsville caller Tuesday.

Mrs. A.H. Noetzel spent Sunday and Monday at St. Paul.

Mrs. A.D. Lyon spent the weekend visiting friends at Beaver Dam.

Rev. P.T. Weller visited friends in Eau Claire the first of the week.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Arbs and son Junior were Marshfield callers Saturday.

Orton Dahlby of Cornell spent Sunday here with relatives and friends.

Misses Mary and Jean Wolf of Eau Claire spent the weekend here with their mother.

Mrs. M.E. Kenyon and daughter spent the weekend visiting relatives at Owen.

Mrs. Louis Brown entertained the members of the Merry-go-round Club at her home last evening.

Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Buker and daughter spent Sunday with relatives at Owen.

Miss Evangeline Sheets spent her Easter vacation here with he parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Sheets.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Michels and daughters spent Sunday with relatives at Black River Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Needham and son Stanley spent the weekend here at the Paul Borham home.

Ole J. Johnson accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Art Johnson to Eau Claire Sunday for an extended visit there.

Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Gauger and children of Marshfield were Sunday visitors at the Geo. Hoehne home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnson, who have been patients at the General Hospital at Madison, returned home Tuesday.

Mrs. W.W. Tyrrell and son of Jim Falls spent the week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Pratt.

Miss Mildred Shanks of Carter spent the weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Shanks.

Mrs. Myrle Hales and daughter of Neillsville are visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Haeuser.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Johnson and children of Eau Claire spent Sunday here visiting relatives and friends.

Mrs. Don Warner will entertain the members of the Neighborhood Club at her home Friday evening.

Grover Noetzel left Sunday for a visit with his sister, Mrs. Walter Lawein at McIntosh, N.D.

Mrs. Arnold Dueysen and baby of Laona spent the past week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Rear.

Mrs. L.E. Brackett returned to Brule Saturday after spending a week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Hartson.

The West Side Ladies Aid will meet at the home of Mrs. Norbert Kuester Thursday, May 2nd. Let us have a good turnout and all try to be present.
