Free Carleton of Neillsville spent Sunday at the A.C. Barr home.

Charles Nelson of Owen spent the weekend here at the J.H. Fradette home.

Miss Irene O'Connell entertained the Birthday Club at her home Saturday evening.

Mr. Joe Brauneis Sr. leaves today for Chicago to attend the International Stock Show and to visit relatives and friends.

John Moberg of Oshkosh was an over Sunday visitor here at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Moberg.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Anderson of Stevens Point visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Anderson Saturday.

George Kern Sr. left Tuesday for Duluth, called there by the death of his brother, Henry.

Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Mayhew and daughter and Miss Joyce Haeuser were at Marshfield Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Eric Erickson of Marshfield were Sunday visitors at the George Haeuser home.

The Catholic bazaar will be held Thursday, Dec. 8th.

John Herzog is seriously ill at his home at Plymouth, Wis., with infantile paralysis. Mr. Herzog is a brother-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Meyer and Mr. and Mrs. John Olson of Greenwood, and is well known here.

Mrs. Louis Brown entertained the teachers and a few other friends at a six o'clock dinner at her home last Wednesday evening. After the dinner cards were played and all present had an enjoyable time.

Mrs. Kelley, who ahs been visiting at the L.E. Reese home, went to Wis. Rapids last Thursday for a visit at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Stewart, before returning to St. Paul. Mr. Rees took her to the Rapids by auto.

Mrs. Fred Tolleth of Kilbourn is spending a few days here with her sister, Mrs. Harold Stabnow.

Mr. and Mrs. George Speich and son spent Sunday with relatives and friends at Unity.
