Miss Joyce Haeuser is spending the week at the Ed Sorenson home at Abbotsford.

Justin and Miss Charlotte McCarty of Longwood spent Tuesday at the A.C. Barr home.

Marshall Youngs of Marshfield was and over Sunday visitor here with friends.

Miss Margaret McMahon is spending the week at the Linus Prock home in Globe.

Miss ruth Sischo of Neillsville is spending the week here with home folks.

Miss Myrtle Aaberg left yesterday for Eau Claire, where she will undergo a tonsil operation.

Miss Mabel Sherman of Wausau was an over Sunday visitor at the home of her mother, Mrs. A.G. Sherman.

Jack Moberg of Oshkosh was an over Sunday visitor at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Moberg.

Frank LaBonte was taken to the hospital at Chippewa Falls last week, being quite ill with pleurisy.

Mrs. Fred Behrens entertained two tables of 500 at her home Tuesday evening.

Miss Eunice Paul, who teaches at Berlin, Wis., is spending her Christmas vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.N. Paul.

The Hemlock Ladies Aid will meet at the J.F. Stoler home Wednesday, Jan. 11th.

Mrs. Mary Haeuser and Mr. and Mrs. John Eakin of Dorchester and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sorenson of Abbotsford were visitors at the George Haeuser home Monday.

Miss G.E. Loft, teacher at the University, Madison, is spending the week here at the home of her cousin, W.E. Hubble.

Erwin Leach of Eau Claire is spending the holidays here at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Leach.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Corey went to Minneapolis Saturday for a week's visit with relatives and friends.

Ray Knudsen of La Crosse is spending the holidays with his wife at the P.E. Peterson home.

Miss Amy Colby, who is teaching at Iron River, Mich., arrived last Thursday to spend the holidays at the A.S. Armstrong home.

Jack Fahey of Owen spent Christmas with his mother, Mrs. Thomas Fahey.

Miss Viola Barr spent Friday and Saturday at the Dr. K.W. Baker home in Owen.

Lawrence Berg went to Stanley Saturday where he is spending the week with home folks.

Mrs. J.H. Fradette and son John were Neillsville callers Tuesday.

Adolph Schwarze spent from Saturday until Tuesday at the John Steiger home at St. Paul.

Miss Mable Bishop of Milwaukee is spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Bishop.

Miss Minerva Mason, student nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, spent Christmas with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Mason.

Harold Stabnow and family spent Christmas Day with relatives at Loyal.

Miss Mildred Shanks of Thorp is spending her Christmas vacation at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Shanks.

R.J. Jordan of Chicago is visiting relatives and friends in this vicinity during the holidays.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Haeuser and children spent Christmas Day with relatives at Dorchester.

Mr. and Mrs. Hastings Baird and daughter spent Sunday and Monday with relatives at Loyal.

Miss Arlene McMahon, student nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield, arrived Monday for a few days visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene McMahon.

Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Fradette and family spent Sunday at the Dr. K.W. Baker home in Owen.

Miss Gladys Cone, who is attending teachers training school at Neillsville, is spending the holidays at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Cone.

Karl Aaberg of Knoxville, Iowa is spending his vacation with his parents, Rev. and Mrs. M.K. Aaberg.

Miss Blanch Gates of Bayfield is spending the holidays here at the home of her brother, Dan Gates.

Mrs. C.e. Hogue went to 'Chicago Saturday to spend Christmas with her husband.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stillwell and son spent Christmas with relatives and friends at Wautoma.

A.A. Volk of Allen is spending the week here with relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas of Lake Crystal, Minn. Are spending the holidays at the home of his son, Dr. J.R. Thomas and family.
