Several young people from around here went up to the schoolhouse Monday night
and trimmed the schoolhouse. After the schoolhouse was trimmed they roasted
marshmallows.
A large crowd attended Mrs. Joe Walter's birthday party.
Miss Lois Cole had a party for the school children on Washington's birthday.
Miss Cole sure knows how to make cocoa.
Miss Viola Walter visited Mrs. Walter Acker Thursday.
Charles Arp helped Verland Berrett saw wood Wednesday.
Joe Walter is hauling bolts to Riplinger.
Verland Berrett stripped the gears in his car Friday while going after his wife,
who is teaching school near Loyal.
A surprise birthday party was held on Anna Stabnow Saturday night. All present
reported a good time.
Irene and Lucille Zimmerman of Greenwood spent Saturday and Sunday at Stabnow's.
Leo Arp spent the weekend at home.
