Rev. D.S. Householder was a Chippewa Falls visitor Monday.
The Ladies of St. Mary's Church will have an apron sale at Lyon's Restaurant
April 5.
The M.E. Ladies Aid will meet at the church basement, Friday afternoon, March
30th.
Ole Dale spent Tuesday and Wednesday at Marshfield attending a Pure Oil meeting.
Mrs. A.H. Noetzel spent Friday and Saturday at St. Paul.
Lee Jolivette and family have moved from the Frances residence into the Ed
Johnson home.
Irvie Gates entertained the "Gang" at his home Saturday evening.
Mrs. O.C. Behrens and Mrs. Fred Behrens were Neillsvilel callers Saturday.
The M.E. Ladies food and apron sale will take place Saturday, April 7. The place
will be announced later.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Beyer entertained a number of friends at a six o'clock
dinner at their home Sunday and Monday evenings.
Maple sap has been runnging good the past week and many farmers in this vicinity
are busily engaged making maple syrup.
The ice in Black River went out last week. Several ice jams were noticed and as
the water was very high a number of trees near the bank of the river were
uprooted.
The Hemlock Ladies Aid will meet at the home of Mrs. John Longridge, April 11th.
Mrs. Ivan Barnes and Mrs. Longridge will entertain.
Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Barr and son Charles and Haskell McCarty were Longwood callers
Sunday.
Mrs. Fred Oelig will entertain the Suffragette Club at her home this evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rossman and son of Withee spent Sunday here with relatives and
friends.
Jack Moberg of Oshkosh was an over Sunday visitor here at the home of his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Moberg.
Mr. Chris Keiner returned Thursday after spending several days at Chicago,
Milwaukee and Portage.
A number of friends gathered at the H.A. Wescott home Saturday evening. Cards
were played and all present spent an enjoyable evening.
Mrs. Howard Still well and son Donald are visiting relatives and friends at
Laoyl this week.
The West Side Ladies Aid will meet Wednesday, April 4th at the West Side
Schoolhouse. Members are requested to bring the refreshments.
