Thums, Earl J. (24 OCT 1929 - 11 APR 2014)

Earl J. Thums, 84, Town of Westboro, died on Friday, April 11 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Otto Bucher officiating.

Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Westboro. Pallbearers are his grandsons, Chad and Corey Thums, Jason Schuppel, Dalton Kays-Hutchinson, Allan and Eric Koffler, Travis Strobach and Nick Weiss.

Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, April 15 from 5 to 8 p.m., with an 8 p.m. prayer service, and on Wednesday from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
