Biddle, Mary (31 MAR 1877 - 3 JUL 1966)

Mary Biddle, 89, passed away Sunday, July 3rd, 1966 at Bancroft, Wis. In 1893 she was united in marriage at Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis. To George Biddle who precedes her in death.

Funeral services were held at the Thorp Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 6th at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Scott officiating. Burial was in the East Thorp Cemetery. Pallbearers were all grandsons: Robert Prock, Tim Biddle, Jim Christen, John Biddle, George Pagel and Galen Biddle.

Surviving are: five sons, William of Portland, Oregon, Edward and James of Thorp, Melvin of Milwaukee, Marian of Oland Park, Ill.; eight daughters, (Pearl) Mrs. Jeffers of Sedro Woolley, Wash., (Alice) Mrs. Marion Sanders of British Columbia, Canada, (Grace) Mrs. Herman Christen of Osseo, (Ruth) Mrs. Melvin Huth of Baraboo, (Sarah) Mrs. Adam Path of Fayetteville, Ark, (Katherine) (Mrs. John Pagel, (Virgie) Mrs. Al Prock, both of Owen, (Bernice) Mrs. August Hoeper of Oak Lawn, Ill.; two brothers, Melvin Bancroft of Thorp, and Darius Bancroft of McDonald, Tenn.,; three sisters, Maude Pierson, Aberdeen, S.D., Sarah Goudwin of McDonald, Ten, and Polly of Atlanta, Ga. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George.
