Pirus, Mrs. George (26 NOV 1904 - 27 JUN 1966)
Mrs. George Pirus, 61, of 812 N. 23rd St., Milwaukee, died at Bensenville, Ill.,
on Monday, June 27th, 1966. She was a former resident of Lublin.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Holy Assumption
Russian Orthodox Church at Lublin, with Father Emile Glocar officiating. Burial
was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Pirus was born Nov. 26, 1904 in Passaic, N.J., and moved to the Huron area
with her parents when she was a girl. On Oct. 23, 1921, she was married to
George Pirus and they farmed in the Lublin area until 1957, when they moved to
Milwaukee.
Surviving are her husband; Anthony, Sheboygan, and Robert, Milwaukee; eight
daughters, Mrs. Walter Krusta, Bensenville, Ill., Mrs. Roy Faude, Withee; Mrs.
Stanley Baron, Madison; Mrs. Stanley Baron, Madison, Mrs. Wilbur Quint,
Coventry, R.I., Mrs. Curtis Gulrud, Madison; Mrs. Anthony Senski, Mrs. Elizabeth
Breaux, and Mrs. Robert Zinda, all of Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Al Ziwisky,
Boyd; two brothers, Mike Nozal, Chippewa Falls and Jack Nozal, St. Paul; 32
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
