Florkowski, Peter (7 JAN 1890 - 27 JUN 1966)

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 29 at Thorp Funeral home for Peter Florkowski, 76, who passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on Monday, June 27th, 1966. Rev. Roy Scott officiated at the ten a.m. service and burial was in the East Thorp Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Walter Tyznik, Mich. Tyznik, Frank Fillo, Rudolph Fillo, Edward Mueller and Richard Mueller.

Mr. Florkowski was born Jan. 7, 1890 at Kewaunee, Wis. He lived all his life in Wisconsin, doing farm work and work in lumbering camps, till disable and since had made his home in the Greenwood nursing home.

Surviving are three brothers, Tony Florkowski of Chicago, Edward Florkowski of Thorp, Michael Florkowski of Unity; three sisters, Helen Fillo of Thorp and Maria and Margaret Florkowski, both of Chicago.
