Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brandt of Marydel, Md., accompanied by two granddaughters and two foster children, are spending about ten days in this area visiting relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Olson and children of Loyal spent the weekend at the Clifford Manier home and also visited with the Bill Ulrey's of St. Petersburg, Fla.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Don Miller and John spent the weekend camping at Mead Lake with Mrs. And Mrs. Laurence Henke and sons of Owen and Mr. and Mrs. Arnt Ricksford of Chippewa Falls. On Sunday they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Shilts and family and Elaine Phillippi for a picnic dinner in honor of Joe Miller's 77th birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bart Brandt spent the weekend at their trailer house on Lake Holcombe.

Mrs. George Schunk and Mrs. Ray Sloviak and children visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ulrey one day last week.

Mrs. John Johnson of Janesville spent a week's vacation with the Don Miller's and other relatives and friends in the area. She returned home Sunday with Jerry Miller, who began working at the Chevrolet plant at Janesville on Monday.

Mrs. John Johnson and Mrs. Don Miller visited with Mary Krueger at Sparta and Mrs. Kenneth Swope and children at Tunnel City Wednesday.
