Steisel, William B. (21 JAN 1911 - 23 JUL 1966)
William B. Steisel of 2900 S.W. 23rd St., Miami, Fla., passed away Saturday
morning, July 23, 1966.
William B. Steisel, born Jan. 21st, 1911 in Brooklyn, N.Y., came to Thorp (Clark
Co., Wis.) in 1940 after June Dairy Products Co., N.Y., acquired Thorp Dairy,
and moved Blue Moon Cheese from Minneapolis to Thorp.
In 1947, he resigned as a vice president of Blue Moon Foods, moved to Miami,
Fla., where he establish Honduras Marine Foods with his brother Sidney. When
this business was sold in 1948, they organized Ajax Packaging and Plastics, in
which he was active until earlier this year.
