Garbisch, Annabelle Viola (18 July 1937 - 21April 2014)
Annabelle V. Garbisch, 76, of Granton died Monday, April 21, 2014, at the house
of the Doe in Marshfield.
Anna belle Viola Keuer was born July 18, 1937, in the Town of Lynn, Clark
County, the daughter of Raymond Edward and Viola Anna (Pischer) Keuer. She
graduated from Granton High School in 1955. She was united in marriage to Ronald
Garbisch Nov. 26, 1955, at Grace Lutheran Church in Nasonville. Together they
farmed and Annabelle also worked as the office manager for the Midwest Livestock
Producers in Granton from 1965 to 1990 at then for Randy Reineck horse sales
until 2008. Annabelle was also known as the “egg lady” delivering eggs in
Marshfield and Granton. She belonged to the Granton Senior Citizens and served
as their president. She enjoyed going to polka dances ad telling jokes.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald; three children, Robert (Wanda) Garbisch
of Altoona, Terry Garbisch of Greenwood, and Tammy (Paul) Dunnigan of Green Bay;
and two grandchildren, Laura Garbisch and Ashley (Matt Peterson) Garbisch.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bradley, in 1971; a
brother, Edward, in 1964; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn, in 1959.
A funeral service for Annabelle will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24,
2014, at the Zion American Lutheran Church, W2840 Hill Rd, Granton, WI 54436.
Interim Pastor Kenneth Schmidt will officiate. Providing music will be Marjorie
Dahl, organist. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday,
April 23, 2014, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville and again Thursday
morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Zion
Lutheran Cemetery at Granton.
