Skowronski, Peter (12 JUN 1881 - 31 JUL 1966)
Peter Skowronski, 85, passed away at the Taylor county Nursing Home on Sunday,
July 31st, 1966.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 3rd at St. Mary's Assumption
Polish National Catholic Church, Lublin. Rev. Casimir Krysinski officiated at
the ten a.m. service and burial was in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Kenneth Skowronski, Ray Skowronski, Mike Skowronski, Peter
Schug, LeRoy Symanik and J. Symanik Jr.
Mr. Skowronski, a retired town of Roosevelt (Taylor Co., Wis.) farmer, was born
June 12, 1881 in Poland. On Oct. 1, 1908 he was united in marriage to Antonette
Zielinski. In 1913 they came to the state, settling near Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.), and in 1951 moved to their present home.
Surviving are his wife Antonette, Lublin; five sons, Mike, Malen, Stanley, Adam
and Walter; three daughters, Helen Wood, Charlotte Schug, betty Symanik; 13
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
