Mr. and Mrs. Orville Manier and children spent last week camping and sightseeing
through upper and lower Michigan. They also visited the Dennis Olichweier's at
Wheaton, Ill., and the Glen Joby's at Grays Lake, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kolar and Debbie and Linda returned to Milwaukee Saturday
after spending their vacation with the Alfred Berge's and other relatives and
friends.
Miss Beverly Nitz and friend Mr. James Kucharski of Milwaukee visited at the
Charles Nitz home last Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller attended the wedding of Jean Burrington and Ralph
McIntyre of Grand Forks, N.D. at the First Baptist Church in Chippewa Falls on
Saturday.
Lyle Hake of Superior was a Wednesday dinner guest at the Richard Hake home.
Mrs. Catherine Gadke returned home recently from a trip to California with her
son Bill Gadke and his family. They spent some time with Mr. and Mrs. A.
Mikottis and Mr. and Mrs. John Gadke and family at Sacramento, Calif., and with
Mr. and Mrs. John Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gadke and family at Cores, Calif.
Before returning home they also spent some time visiting at the Bill Gadke and
Jim Copenhavor home, and with other relatives and friends in the Chicago area.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ulrey left for St. Petersburg, Fla., Tuesday, after spending
about a month with relatives and friends here.
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Brandt called at the Harry Smith and Norval Boie homes Sunday
evening.
Mrs. Catherine Gadke and Mrs. Joe Emert spent Friday at Dorchester where they
visited Mrs. Bill Pinter, Mrs. Alfred Baker and Mr. and Mrs. John Pinter.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stauffacher and David and Valerie of Minnesota spent several
days over the weekend at the Alfred Berge home.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Shilts and Billy, Eddy and Julie, Mr. and Mrs. Larry
Gerrits and Toni and Mr. and Mrs. Don Miller and Jerry and John enjoyed a
cookout at the Joe Miller home Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Booth called at the Charles Nitz home Wednesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Lewallen and Brenda visited at the Alfred Berge home Friday
evening.
Debbie, Sherry and Peggy Storley returned to their home in Milwaukee Sunday,
after spending several weeks with their grandparents, the Dick Brandt's.
Mrs. Orville Peterson and children visited Mrs. Alma Johnson Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gadke and son, Mrs. George Paap and Brian, and Mrs. Joe Emert
and girls were Sunday dinner and supper guests at the Catherine Gadke home.
Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Brandt of Sheboygan spent the weekend with the Dick
Brandt's.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Staffacher, David and Valerie were Sunday dinner guests at the
Dennis Lewallen home.
Mrs. Alma Johnson and Mrs. Dick Brandt called on Mrs. Walter Aumann Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Miller and John spent the weekend with the Don Rynbec's and
John Johnson's at Janesville. John Johnson returned home with them to spend
several weeks vacation with relatives and friends here.
