Fravert, Orlin (23 AUG 1925 - 22 AUG 1966)
A Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) farmer shot and killed himself Monday morning in a
wrecked car in which he was injured in an accident three years ago, Clark County
authorities said.
The body of Orlin A. Fravert, 40, rt. 2, Greenwood, was found by his wife,
Elvera. A 12 gauge shotgun was found inside the car.
Mr. Fravert reportedly had been depressed and the victim of severe headaches
since being involved in the accident in 1963.
After the mishap, the car was pulled to a field at the edge of a woodlot, and
had been used as a source of parts.
Born Aug. 23, 1925 in the town of Warner, he farmed there all his life.
Besides his wife, survivors include three children, Magaret, Marily and Mark,
all at home; two brothers, LeRoy and Allen, both of Greenwood.
Services will be held Thursday at 2p.m.at the Immanuel United Church of Christ
at Greenwood, the Revs. Charles Koch, New Holstein, and Jacob Grether,
Neillsville, officiating. Burial will be in the West Side Cemetery.
