May, Mr. and Mrs. John W. (60th - 1972)
George M. May attended the 60th wedding anniversary observance of his brother
and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John W. May of Winnipeg, Canada.
Open house was held Sunday, April 9, at the Glenview, Il, home of their
granddaughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Phelan. About 60 persons were
in attendance, including brothers, Arthur May and wife of Madison, Carl E. May
and wife of Kansas City, Mo, and sister, Florence of Washington, D.C. Also
present were Mrs. Fred May and son of Janesville; Janet May Davis of Chester,
Ind., cousins Anna and Clarence Zeiger of Chicago, Il; sons, John May, Jr., of
Grayslake, Il, Arthur May of Bismarck, N. D., August May of Chicago; and
daughter, Florence May of Chicago.
