Wolfe, Milton J. E. (12 April 1916 - 13 April 1972)
Funeral services for Milton J. E. Wolfe, age 56, of Rt. Loyal, who died at his
home April 13, were held Saturday, April 15, at 11 a.m. from Trinity Lutheran
Church in Loyal. The Rev. William Humlie officiated and burial was made in the
Lutheran Cemetery. The Roycraft Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wolfe was born April 12, 1916, in the Town of Beaver and spent his entire
life on the home farm there. His marriage to the former Emily Winkler took place
December 29, 1941, at Yuma, Ariz. Mr. Wolfe was a member of Trinity Lutheran
Church at Loyal.
Survivors in addition to his wife, include two children, Gary Wolfe of
Lafayette, La, and Pam Wolfe at home; and two grandchildren. He is also survived
by three sisters, Mrs. John (Erna) Fina and Mrs. Fred (Agnes) Paddon, both of
Milwaukee, and Mrs. Margaret Foelsch of Spencer; and a brother, Paul Wolfe of
Milwaukee.
Pallbearers were: Allan Luber, Erwin Schmidt, Dan Ellison, James Wangen, Frank
Maurer, and Earl Zabel. “How Great Thou Art” and “Until We Meet Again” were sung
by Verland Randt. Mrs. John Olsen was the organist.
