Farnsworth, Horace B. (8 December 1884 - 30 December 1973)

Horace B. Farnsworth, 89, died December 30, at Family Heritage Nursing Home in Black River Falls. He had farmed near Humbird since 1914. He became a resident of the nursing home about four years ago.

Farnsworth was born December 8, 1884 in Minneapolis. He married Ada Bell Stanley (Wilbur), on March 18, 1912 (March 18, 1911).

Survivors include two nephews: Roy and Donald Farnsworth of Minneapolis; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mabel Merrill of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Hazel Harris of Altoona, Wis.

Services were held January 2, 1974, at the Jensen Funeral Home in Hixton, with Rev. Calvin Carey officiating. Burial was in Mentor Cemetery in Humbird.
