Greenwood (20 April 1972)

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Humke and daughters, Christie and Shelley, of Rochester, Mn, spent the weekend with her parents and helped Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart and helped Mrs. Stewart celebrate her birthday. They also visited Mr. Humke’s father, Theodore Humke, who has been transferred from Memorial Home to Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mrs. Henry Vollrath was dismissed Friday from the Marshfield hospital and has returned to her home here.

The Tuesday afternoon club met at the home of Mrs. Bertha Dallman.

Charley Looker of Hayward spent Wednesday and Thursday with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart.

Weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Edwin Hegenbarth were her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Nielsen of Oregon and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Konkl of Rice Lake.

The Adult Fellowship met Sunday evening in Zion United Church of Christ. Mrs. Theodore Abel presided. New members, Mr. and Mrs. Quinton Irvine, were welcomed. Devotions were by the Rev. Hilding Peterson. The group was entertained by Susan, Perry and Brian Abel, children for Mr. and Mrs. Richard Abel of loyal, who played several instrumental selections. Following the meeting games were played and lunch was served by Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Abel and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hendrickson.
