Granton (20 April 1972)

Mr. and Mrs. Roland Quicker, together with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Opelt of Neillsville, drove to Phillips Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Pete Montgomery.

Mrs. Ollie Poler is a surgical patient at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville. She entered the hospital April 11. The Polers’ daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Johnson of Eau Claire, visited Mrs. Poler in the hospital one day last week.

Sunday visitors at the William Lehman home were her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brumm of Mattoon, and her sister, Mrs. Marie Umland of Birnamwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Moh, Sally and Mitzi, drove to Amherst Sunday and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Peterson and family.

Weekend guests at the Ralph Lautenbach home were his father, Oscar Lautenbach of Reedsburg, and Mrs. Richard Lautenbach, Debbie, Fay and Ricky. Mrs. Pearl Werner of Milwaukee visited at the Lautenbach home Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wegner of New London visited last weekend at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schlinsog and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wegner. Sunday afternoon guests at the Schlinsog home also included Mr. and Mrs. Tony Bezlyk and children and Lona Schlinsog. Mrs. Steve Schlinsog joined the group in the evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Vanderwyst entertained recently in honor of the first birthday of their daughter, Cindy. Guests Thursday evening were Cindy’s godparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Barth, and their children, Mike and Sandy. Guests Sunday included Cindy’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kammerer of Auburndale and Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Vanderwyst, Mrs. Norman Vanderwyst’s sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Don Gebelein of Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Klueckmann of Willard.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helm and their daughter and granddaughter, Mrs. Sammie Seefeldt and Linda of Melrose, visited Dr. and Mrs. Hugo Ross Saturday at Sun Prairie.

Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson and Donna and his mother, Mrs. Elmer Anderson of Neillsville, visited in
Appleton Sunday, with the David Anderson’s daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Thiede and son Timmy.
