Vows were exchanged at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Saturday, February 3, at 1 p.m. between Judith Shupe, Greenwood and Leonard H. Alexancer, Unity.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Syth, route 2, Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Delos Alexander, Unity.

The Rev. N. E. King, pastor of St. Anthony's performed the ceremony and the childrens choir provided the music.

The altar was adorned with white mums and red roses were placed by the Blessed Virgin statue.

The bride given in marriage by her father wore a floor length bridal gown of sheer taffeta with a yolk of lace trimmed with sequins. the empire waist fell into a train of lace in taffeta. Her bouffant veil was held by a rose petal crown.

Miss Emily Alexander, Unity, was maid of honor, Mrs. Sheldon Heck and Miss Joan Prime, Greenwood, were the aides.

The attendants were seen in royal blue velvet brocade gowns with empire waists and crepe skirts. They each wore matching head pieces.

The groom choose Jack Molle, Unity, as best man. Sheldon Heck, Greenwood and Mike Shupe,Loyal were groomsmen. Dennis Witt and Kenny Knect were the ushers.

A reception was held from 2-4 p.m. at the Loyal Amusement Center followed by a supper at the church dining hall. A wedding dance was held that evening at the Spencer Municipal Hall.

The bride is a 1967 graduate of Loyal High school and is employed by Weinbrenner Shoe Co., Marshfield. The groom i a 1965 graduate of Loyal High School and is employed at Pathfinder Mobile Homes, Inc. Spencer.

The couple will make their home at Unity.
