Mrs. D. Franks, who has been seriously ill with pneumonia, passed away Monday
afternoon.
Miss Elmira Blecha of Stevens Point is spending Easter vacation at home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dallman of New London visited East Sunday with the latter's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Metcalf.
Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Alperstett and son Melvin visited Friday at the Geo. Vollrath
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Speich and family visited Sunday at the Ernest Vollrath home.
Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Horn called at the Geo. Braun home one evening last week.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Haase, Mr. and Mrs. Alb. Franz and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Horn were
dinner guests Sunday at the Otto Horn Jr. home.
Mr. and Mrs. E. Horn are moving to Rice Lake this week, where the former has
employment as herdsman.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Karsten and family visited at the Otto Horn Jr. home Friday
evening.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Haase and Mr. and Mrs. Alb. Franz called at the Jake Speich home
Sunday evening.
